The Power of Note-Taking and Reflecting

One of the great things about these modules, as you just learned, is that you can take them at your own pace, and revisit them whenever you like.

While in a classroom-led training you would have discussions with the facilitator to reinforce key points, in these self-paced modules, you can take as much time as you need to review and reflect. In a sense, you become your own teacher, and focus on what you need most.

Here's another tip for getting the most out of this course:

As you go through these modules, have your favorite notebook or note-taking app handy to jot down ideas and inspirations that occur to you as you read the text and watch the videos. You can use the controls on the videos to pause whenever you need to write down your own observations.

We'll offer some voluntary, unscored self-check quiz questions to help you assess how much you're remembering, and we'll also include some "ASK YOURSELF THIS" self-reflection questions at the end of each section. Making a few notes for yourself on each of these topics will help reinforce the points and ideas that most spoke to you.

You will also find the self-reflection questions in a downloadable PDF job aid in the Handouts section of each module. Your own notes and ideas will be the most valuable part of this self-paced training!

This is truly self-directed training and you are in the driver's seat. Once you have your notebook or notes app ready, jump into the rest of the introductory module, and enjoy the ride!
