Module A: Facilitator Guide

Foundational Knowledge of Early Literacy Elements in Public Librarianship

What to Expect in this Module

In this module, we are going to take the knowledge librarians already have of Every Child Ready to Read 2, which focuses on Reading, Talking, Singing, Writing and Playing as the means to build critical pre-literacy skills.

We will continue to build on these concepts through understanding the importance of actively engaging the families in your neighborhood and their greater community.
